
The Prescott Regional Opportunity Foundation (PROF) was formed in 2020 as a 501(c)(3) corporation to educate, innovate, incubate citizens, companies and entrepreneurs. After gaining financial, legal and grant support the Center for the Future project now has four companies with space in the Phase I building site in historic downtown Prescott. Beginning July 2022, workshops, meetups, training and other events will be held in conjunction with USDA Rural Innovation funding.
Partner companies include SteadyNet (formerly SimpleWAN) developing products for the consumer and small business network space offering reliable, and bandwidth controlled secure connectivity. CyberCore International has expanded from the San Jose and Bay Area Physical and Cyber Security offerings to include a SOC housed in the refurbished second floor of the Center Phase I building. Systems Engineering Group, an Axient Subsidiary attracts aerospace engineering students to work on complex fluid models for hypersonic objects.
