Dr. Haass is widely regarded as one of the premier executive coaches in the southwest though he works with clients across the nation seeking to transform their leadership in personal life and at work. He speaks to audiences from experience about challenges, change and choice. A current passion is the empowerment of the leader in this age of dynamic global connectedness. Cyber threats may exist and yet the world wide network also brings opportunity and reach to the entrepreneur and corporation like never before. Born and raised in Casper Wyoming under clear starry skies he gained an appreciation for nature and the scientific and mathematical methods of understanding life. Learning and teaching has remained a passion since receiving a PhD at MIT where he stayed on as CLE Moore Instructor while co-founding his first company.
He has held executive and management roles in Sun Microsystems, OpenTV and Sendmail. Leadership and mentoring others to fully express their talents and purpose continues to be a source of joy. Trained in the Coaching and Leadership programs with Coach Training Institute; Dr. Haass has added the co-active and integral dynamic models to his work in the last decade with executives and teams. He recently accepted a position as Professor and Director of a new startup program in Cyber Intelligence and Security within the College of Security and Intelligence at Embry-Riddle University in Prescott Arizona.
